A local mechanic who answered an advertisement on Craigslist is accused of leaving child pornography in the car of the woman who placed it, KPTV reports.
According to the woman who placed the advertisement for a mechanic, 19-year-old Devin Husk responded, saying that he would take a look at her car if she brought to his house. The woman thought the request was strange, so she brought along a friend as a precaution.
“I just got a really weird vibe from him, it was a place where you go and you just feel like something’s not right,” the friend — who wishes to remain anonymous — told KPTV.
Husk took the car for a test drive and said he could fix it later in the week. When the women were driving home, they noticed that he had left an envelope in the back seat. It contained Husk’s resume — along with over 100 graphic photographs depicting children being sexually abused.
The majority of victims were girls under the age of 10, according to police.
“My friend, she opened it and pulled out all of these pictures of young girls and boys and they were naked, I couldn’t believe it. His résumé was on top of the pictures, so we knew it was his,” the friend continued. “I just sat there and cried. I have two little grand babies, and it was so horrible.”
Husk was arrested, and is currently being held on $25,000 bond. He faces 10 counts of possession of child pornography.
