A Kentucky man photobombed Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) as they voted.

McConnell cast his ballot in a carrel-style voting booth at Bellarmine University in Louisville as an unidentified voter two booths behind him made a face and flashed a thumbs-down gesture.

Photographer Aaron P. Bernstein, a stringer for Getty Images, captured the moment, and the image quickly went viral.

McConnell, who has served 30 years in the U.S. Senate, is facing his stiffest challenge in 20 years from Kentucky Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes.

The Grimes campaign tweeted out the photo, reminding voters to cast their ballots and linking to a state website to help them find the correct polling place.
