WATCH: Paranoid ‘Internet journalist’ accuses US Army of training in Michigan so ‘They can go after us’
In a video recorded by an “Internet journalist” a U.S. Army spokesman attempts to fend off a barrage of panicky questions regarding scheduled military maneuvers in Michigan, with his inquisitor insisting the training is so the Army can, “Go after us.”
Uploaded to YouTube by AllPointsTV, the spokesperson — who identifies himself as Mike — is alternately bemused, frustrated, and distracted as he is peppered with accusatory questions.
The U.S. Army is currently conducting exercise maneuvers at an abandoned school in Flint, Michigan which has startled members of the community , drawing the citizen journalist out to ask some hard questions; comparing the training exercise to Jade Helm, which has panicked the conspiracy-based community.
In a frantic shaky voice, the questioner initially confronts Mike over the training, saying, “The government’s okayed it? The people want to go after our own people?”
“No. It’s nothing like that, sir, “Mike responds — and then it is on.
“Yeah, right. What’s your name?”
“My name is Mike.”
“Which division, organization, or group are you a part of?”
“Hey, I can direct you to our public affairs office. ”
His questioner then identifies himself, ” I’m All Points TV. It’s Internet.”
After Mike explains, “It’s just to conduct some realistic training,” he is peppered with a barrage of accusations and questions, including, ““So in other words, to go after us,” “Who else you gonna go after?” and “So is this part of something connected to Jade Helm or something like that going on in the southwestern United States?”
When Mike explains that his only purpose standing in the field is so that nobody gets hurt, he is told, “So later on, you can hurt us more,” before adding that Mike “should have a uniform on.”
