Christian author: ‘Insane machine’ Large Hadron Collider is the new Tower of Babel that will destroy us all

Published

In a breathless report uploaded to YouTube, a Christian investigative reporter who works for evangelist Jim Bakker warns that science is tempting God to destroy us all like he did with the Tower of Babel by searching for the “God particle” using the Large Hadron Collider.

The LHC is an enormous particle collider built by the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) and located near Geneva for the purpose of testing out advanced theories of particle physics and high-energy physics.

With this in mind, an excitable and overly sincere Zach Drew draws attention to the Biblical story of the Tower of Babel in the book of Genesis where God scattered arrogant knowledge seekers across the land, speaking in different languages.

“What if I told you, again, today, the ancient story of the Tower of Babel is being repeated,” Drew ominously intoned. “Isn’t it interesting that people from all around the world have once again come together to build the largest machine that man has ever constructed? They say it is for the purpose of discovering the God particle. This mystery particle that essentially holds the entire universe together and, if found, would explain our very existence.”

“This insane machine? It’s called CERN,” he continued. “The Large Hadron Collider. The Tower of Babel. The whole world came together to work on it… The people at the Tower of Babel’s goal was also to reach a portal, or a gateway, into the sky, or into another dimension where God dwells.”

“Is all this a mere coincidence? Are the startling parallels between these two stories just a matter of chance?” Drew asked before adding, “Or are the powers of the demonic realm actively at work right now? And if this is just a coincidence and history does decide to repeat itself, let’s not forget how it ended for the people at the Tower of Babel.”

The widow of Rep. Elijah Cummings revealed to "The View" that President Donald Trump's attacks motivated his supporters to bombard their family with death threats.

Maya Rockeymoore Cummings, who's running for her late husband's seat in Maryland, said she hoped to build on his legacy as a champion of civil rights and fight back against Republican attempts to limit access to voting.

"We felt like this was our zero moment as a nation, that we have to make sure that we're all on the battlefield fighting for our future, and so while it does not look good in terms of President Trump and the Republicans," she said. "What they're doing to try to take us back 100 years in this country, the fact of the matter is that people are rising up all across the country. They are saying that we will not be oppressed, you will not take our democracy away from us. We have hordes of women who are running to take office, we have young people who are standing up and speaking out."

Kellyanne Conway stumbles after getting fact checked in real time on Fox News

Published

Trump White House counselor Kellyanne Conway on Monday appeared taken aback after getting fact checked in real time on Fox News.

During an interview with Fox News' Sandra Smith, Conway once again echoed President Donald Trump and complained about how unfair the impeachment process has been.

Conway then slammed Senate Democrats for wanting to call witnesses to testify at Trump's impeachment trial.

"Look at what happened in the House, the Republicans, the president was denied calling his own witnesses," Conway falsely claimed, as House Democrats did allow some witnesses who were requested by House Republicans to testify. "That is a complete disgrace!"
