A Shelton, Washington woman reported to police that last week her oxygen tank was stolen from her home in the Star Lake community.

According to KOMO News, a Good Samaritan found the tank and returned it to its rightful owner.

However, the woman was astonished to find what appeared to be an explosive fuse attached to the cylinder of highly flammable compressed gas. She immediately called the Mason County Sheriff's Office, which sent a bomb squad to retrieve and destroy the device.

The Sheriff's office said it is still trying to determine who took the tank and why they attached a fuse to it.
