Conservative radio host wants to 'throat-punch' Fox guests for criticizing Kim Davis' lawyer
Radio host Steve Deace during a December 2013 appearance.

Conservative radio host Steve Deace denounced the legal experts who mocked Mat Staver, the attorney representing Kim Davis, Media Matters reported.

"As far as I'm concerned, all those people make me wanna puke," Deace told guest Bob Vander Plaats on Wednesday. "I'd throat-punch every last one of them if God let me. But he won't. So I'll pray for them, instead -- against my own will."

Deace was referring to Sharon Liko and Chip Merlin, who went off on Staver during an interview with Fox News host Gregg Jarrett on Monday, with Liko calling him "ridiculously stupid" for questioning whether the Supreme Court had the authority to rule on marriage equality.

He also tried to compare Davis to American revolutionary figures for defying orders from a federal court and the Supreme Court to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples, while Vander Plaats said conservatives should be thanking the Rowan County, Kentucky clerk for provoking a "discussion" on the issue.

"I'd rather live in a country where Melissa Harris-Perry and the entire editorial staff at MSNBC's in charge than any of these people at Fox," he griped. "At least then, the lines are drawn."
