Fox News host Andrea Tantaros was angry on Tuesday that Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), who is Jewish, is backing the proposed nuclear deal between Iran and the US, Media Matters reported.

"The fact that somebody who is Jewish came out in favor of this deal is shameful and abominable," she said. "It's really disgusting, and [Democrats] should all own it. And Republicans need to make them own these votes."

Tantaros did not mention that 48 percent of respondents in a survey by the L.A. Jewish Journal also supported the agreement, as did Colin Powell, who served as Secretary of State in George W. Bush's White House.

Wasserman Schultz, the Democratic Party chair, told CNN on Sunday that after considering the agreement, she thought it best to vote to "put Iran years away from being a nuclear state."

The agreement now has the support of 41 Senate Democrats, which would allow the White House to stop the Senate from passing a measure stating its opposition.

"They should hang this vote around their neck like a millstone," Tantaros argued.

Co-host Harris Faulkner also showed a clip of former Vice President Dick Cheney arguing against the agreement. However, she did not mention that Cheney was forced to admit on Sunday that Iran's centrifuges program went from zero to 5,000 during Cheney's' time in office alongside then-President George W. Bush.
