Jimmy Kimmel turned in a somewhat abstract recap of the Republican debate on CNBC.
The talk show host, dressed as Princess Leah for Halloween, said Wednesday's debate got out of hand because 10 candidates onstage kept trying to jam their own points into the discussion.
"At a certain point, I didn't know if I was watching the debate or 'The View,'" Kimmel said.
He played video of the GOP candidates attempting to answer questions despite interruptions from both their rivals and the moderators -- and soon their statements were mashed into a cacophonous blur or conservative catchphrases.
Then Donald Trump, who canceled an appearance last week on "Late Night With Jimmy Kimmel," turned up holding a pistol.
The GOP frontrunner fired several shots from the gun, signaling the end of the debate.
