Police in Oakland are searching for the two drivers caught on video slamming into an unidentified man wielding a machete on the street, KPIX-TV reported.

Footage of the incident posted online showed the 25-year-old man yelling on a street corner around 3 a.m. Monday morning before walking into the street.

According to SFGate, the man also tried to break the windows of cars parked on the street and threw trash on the road.

The footage shows a vehicle accelerating toward the man, only for him to dodge before slashing it with his blade.

"You done f*cked up now," the person filming the incident can be heard saying.

Minutes after that encounter, the man is standing in the street when a second vehicle backs into him. The man hits it with the machete, but is later hit by the car when it backs into him a second time. As soon as that vehicle pulls away, a third car runs the man over from the other direction, sending him onto another street.

The man manages to get up, though, and narrowly avoids being run over again. Police subsequently took him into custody without incident. He was taken to a local hospital and placed on psychiatric detention.
