Rick Santorum gets humiliated by college student after revealing total ignorance of Islam

Published

on

This week, Rick Santorum, in addition to suggesting that Muslims are taking over godless Europe, tried to claim that “Sharia law” is inherently oppressive and monolithic in interpretation.

After his talk, I asked Santorum to name the 5 foundations of Sharia, which he was unable to do. It was also difficult for him to fathom the fact that Muslim scholars across the religious spectrum have all condemned ISIS. And that ISIS does follow not a legitimate interpretation of Sharia, according to basically every Muslim in the world. Although he could not name a single Muslim scholar who supports ISIS, he still insisted that ISIS is very popular(a claim that is statistically untrue). Santorum also found it difficult to fathom the fact that religion is up to interpretation.

These are ridiculous times we live in people. This man ran for President twice(in 2012 and 2016) berating us Muslims about the dangers of our barbaric “Sharia law” when he cannot even name Sharia’s very foundations.

A Massachusetts stylist was fired after insulting a Black family who had scheduled haircuts.

Damalyn Ellslager-Matthews brought her three children -- ages 7, 5 and 2 -- into Supercuts in Westboro last week, along with her 21-year-old niece, but a stylist balked at cutting their hair, reported WBZ-TV.

“Now this lady told [the niece, who is white], ‘You should have told us you were Black when you made the appointment,’” Damalyn said. “[My daughter] is so naive she says, ‘Well, I’m not Black, my skin’s brown -- can you trim my hair anyways?’”

‘If I’m Trump — I’m scared right now’: MSNBC’s Neal Katyal says Trump’s taxes will likely come out before election

Published

MSNBC legal analyst Neal Katyal on Thursday argued that President Donald Trump has reason to worry about the Supreme Court's ruling that he could not simply ignore subpoenas for information about his personal finances.

During an appearance on the network, Katyal said he disagreed with analysis saying that Trump should view the 7-2 SCOTUS ruling as a mixed bag, since it gave him the opportunity to continue fighting subpoenas even as it denied his ability to dismiss them outright.

Fox News pundit: Tax returns ruling against Trump is ‘a win for him’ and ‘will help the president’

Published

Fox News pundit Katie Pavlich argued on Thursday that a Supreme Court ruling which opened the door for prosecutors to obtain Donald Trump's tax returns is actually "a win" for the president.

Pavlich made the remarks after the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance can request the president's tax records in a public corruption case.

"I think it's a win and a little bit of a loss for President Trump," Pavlich explained. "In the sense that he will now have to deal with a number of these issues and other presidents in the future will as well, whether they are valid requests for information or not and whether they are being made for political for reasons or for valid criminal investigations."
