Florida motorcyclist is nearly hit by angry driver (YouTube)

A Florida man captured what he described as an assault by a Miami motorist in video posted online on Monday, WPLG-TV reported.

The footage is shot from the point of view of the alleged victim, who filmed it while riding his motorcycle. The video shows him going to dangerous lengths to avoid an unidentified man in an orange shirt, who nearly hits him with his car after swerving in front of him.

The motorcyclist, who identified himself as Roni G., is then seen speeding away and riding on the opposite side of the road. But the driver catches up to him and spits at him before throwing a punch at him. Roni is then heard calling him a "j*ckoff" as he rides away.

The motorist told WPLG that Roni G. precipitated the encounter by punching his mirror.

"The driver of that motorcycle vandalized the car," he said. "He had no intention of stopping, then he breaks my side mirror in the heat of the moment."

For his part, Roni did not address the allegation while posting it online, saying instead that he was an "inexperienced rider" trying to get away.

"I didn't chose [sic] to get on to on coming traffic," he wrote. "e blocked my path on both lanes, I didn't want to harm myself or other people, which is exactly what happened, no one got hurt, everyone, even the guy goes home."

Critics have accused Roni of operating a YouTube channel called "Messing with cars" that was deleted after the footage of his run-in with the motorist went online.
