The owner of a wristband manufacturer responded to a large order from a creationist group by donating their payment to a pro-science organization, the Friendly Atheist reported.

"I'm thrilled to donate to a cause I really believe in," Fiyyaz Pirani said regarding his donation to the National Center for Science Education (NCSE), which reportedly exceeded more than $4,000.

Pirani's company, RapidWristband.com, was contracted by a ministry to make 100,000 wristbands bearing the statement, "Debunk Evolution."

While he fulfilled the order, Pirani then turned around and gave the money to the NCSE, a not-for-profit group that advocates for the preservation of both evolution and climate science in school curricula.

"We admire RapidWristband.com’s way of responding to unwelcome orders," NCSE executive director Ann Reid said in a statement. "It's more ethical than refusing to fulfill them -- and more constructive."
