Elizabeth Warren responds to Trump’s lame ’Pocahontas’ attacks: ‘No, seriously — delete your account’

Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D) jumped into the fray in a Twitter spat between the two presumptive presidential nominees on Friday.

The quip fight began when Republican candidate and former reality TV star Donald Trump launched a Twitter broadside against Democratic candidate and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

“Obama just endorsed Crooked Hillary. He wants four more years of Obama—but nobody else does!” tweeted the real estate mogul, who on Thursday was revealed to be not just personally obnoxious, but also a longtime grifter and deadbeat who has been sued more than 3,500 times — and owes hundreds and hundreds of claimants money, including his own lawyers.

Hillary responded with a pithy bit of Twitter sass, writing, “Delete your account.”

Warren joined the fray on Friday as Clinton’s tweet was being shared more than 390,000 times and Trump launched his own line of attack against her. “Pocahontas is at it again! Goofy Elizabeth Warren, one of the least productive U.S. Senators, has a nasty mouth. Hope she is V.P. choice,” wrote Trump. The Massachusetts senator responded coolly, saying, “No, seriously — Delete your account.”

Trump’s utter lack of self-control and seeming inability to edit his feelings on Twitter have become a source of worry for campaign aides, who are apprehensive that their candidate will blare out sensitive campaign information online.

Bloomberg reported this week that advisers close to Trump are concerned that Trump will announce his VP pick on the social medium.

“The campaign has privately discussed making an announcement as soon as this month to deflect from the controversy surrounding Trump University, and some advisers have worried that Trump may decide on his own to post the announcement on Twitter one night with little warning.”
