An Afton, Minnesota woman sounded off on abortion rights in a brilliant letter to the Minneapolis Star Tribune editor because she’s sick of the bullsh*t.
Two men had sent letters to the editor that were published June 28, following the Supreme Court’s announcement in the Texas abortion case.
“Unless you have a woman’s body, I don’t want to hear your opinion on what women’s bodies should or should not do,” Heidi Seltz wrote. “In fact, it would be a delight if the Star Tribune Editorial Board ceased publishing men’s letters about women’s bodies entirely.”
She closed by saying that circulation might improve among younger readers if they didn’t see “old men’s fusty opinion about uteri” every time they opened the newspaper.
