A 45-year-old Greenfield, Wisconsin man is being charged after a terrified child called police on 10 p.m. Saturday.
According to the Milwaukee News, the man came outside on a balcony and fired a .40-caliber pistol in the direction of the child.
At first, police say the man told them that he shot fireworks in the child's direction but later admitted it was a firearm. Police then took the pistol and magazine from him.
He was ultimately arrested and accused of recklessly endangering safety. Full charges will come from the Milwaukee County district attorney's office when they are back open July 5.
