You just knew that once Ted Cruz defiantly refused to endorse Republican nominee Donald Trump on Wednesday that he'd be hit with a fistful of word salad from ex-half-term Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
In an "exclusive" post at Breitbart titled "Sarah Palin to Ted Cruz: Delete Your Career," Palin declares that Cruz's career is finished after he stuck a shiv into Trump this week. She also railed against Cruz for breaking the pledge he signed to endorse whomever the GOP nominee turned out to be.
"Cruz’s broken pledge to support the will of the people tonight was one of those career-ending 'read my lips' moments," Palin wrote. "I guarantee American voters took notice and felt more unsettling confirmation as to why we don’t much like typical politicians because they campaign one way, but act out another way. That kind of political status quo has got to go because it got us into the mess we’re in with America’s bankrupt budgets and ramped up security threats."
Actually, a lot of the career politicians have dutifully lined up behind Trump in the hopes of picking up cabinet jobs if he wins, but this point seems lost on Palin.
