Two Missouri men have been taken into custody for allegedly raping a woman in their trailer after first threatening to waterboard her unless she complied, reports the St. Louis Dispatch.
According to police, Alexander Doering and Jeremiah Horsfall-Steinbrenner, both 22, have been charged with first-degree rape and felonious restraint for the attack on the unnamed woman last Sunday.
Police state the woman was lured to the trailer under false circumstances, and was presented with handcuffs, a water pitcher and a towel and told she would be tortured if she didn’t have sex with them. The two men also changed the password on her phone so that she could not call for help.
The woman was able to escape when both men fell asleep, and police were able to recover video of the sexual assault recorded on Horsfall-Steinbrenner’s cellphone.
Both men are currently being held in lieu of $200,000 cash-only bail.
