An Atlanta child has been shot by a 3-year-old in yet another tragic gun accident.
Officials told Fox 5 that at approximately 3 p.m. the 3-year-old somehow managed to get a hold of a handgun and accidently shot another one and a half-year-old toddler. The toddler was then rushed to Piedmont Henry Hospital to be flown to Egelston Children's Hospital.
It's unknown if the children are related or how he was able to obtain the handgun. Police report that the injury was to the head but they were unsure if it was a direct hit or a graze.
The news comes just hours after it was announced that six-year-old Jacob Hall died. Hall was shot in a South Carolina schoolyard shooting Wednesday.
