Former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski was all ready to attack Hillary Clinton over James Comey's announcement that the FBI was looking into emails discovered on Anthony Weiner's laptop -- but he still managed to fall flat on his face.

In a debate with Lewandowski on CNN Monday, Clinton surrogate Bakari Sellers said that Comey's Friday announcement was "manna from heaven for the Trump campaign" because "we're no longer talking about the women who say he's sexually assaulted them, we're no longer talking about the fact that he hasn't turned in his tax returns, we're no longer making this election about what it has been, which is who has the temperament to be the Commander-in-Chief."

Lewandowski tried to brush off all sexual assault allegations being made by accusers against Donald Trump by stating that Hillary Clinton is the only one who's facing a potential criminal investigation.

"None of those are criminal issues," Lewandowski replied, which made Sellers's jaw drop.

"Sexual assault is a criminal issue, Corey!" he shot back.
