It's taken a while, but Ivanka Trump has finally responded to the infamous video of her father boasting of sexually assaulting women by grabbing their genitals.

In a brief statement released to Fast Company this week, Ivanka Trump said that her father's comments were "were clearly inappropriate and offensive, and I'm glad that he acknowledged this fact with an immediate apology to my family and the American people."

And... that's it. She didn't at all talk about the multiple women who have accused her father of sexual assault over the past couple of weeks, and she didn't address the multitude of other offensive statements that her father has said over the course of his campaign.

All the same, this is a better response than we've seen from the other Trump children -- recall Eric Trump saying that Trump's boasts were just the results of his "alpha personality," or Donald Jr.'s declarations that his father's grabby hands make him "a normal person and not a political robot."
