On the eve of the election, Late Show host Stephen Colbert got in his last shots at, for the moment, GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, needling him over reports that his staff took his Twitter account from him.
"This weekend, aides to Donald Trump finally wrested away his Twitter account," the CBS host began. "You can't take away Trump's Twitter account! That's like taking away Batman's utility belt! All you've got left is a billionaire with anger issues. He's got none of his tools!"
"This makes no sense, " Colbert quipped. "Trump based his whole campaign on that Twitter account. What's he going to do now? Write messages in bronzer on bedsheets and hang them out the window of Trump Tower?"
With that he showed a shot a hanging sheet reading, "Twitter is rigged. Sad."
