A Democratic National Committee staff member identified only as Zach lashed out at interim DNC chair Donna Brazile for backing “a flawed candidate” and allowing Donald Trump to win the presidency.

At the first Democratic party staff meeting since Hillary Clinton conceded the election to Trump, Brazile gave a “rip-roaring speech” about the future of the party when Zach stood up and shouted at the interim chair.

Per the Huffington Post:

“Why should we trust you as chair to lead us through this?” he asked, according to two people in the room. “You backed a flawed candidate, and your friend [former DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz] plotted through this to support your own gain and yourself.”

“You are part of the problem," Zach continued as fellow staffers told him to sit down. "You and your friends will die of old age and I’m going to die from climate change. You and your friends let this happen, which is going to cut 40 years off my life expectancy.”

In an email to the Huffington Post, Brazile declined to comment on the altercation. “As you can imagine, the individual involved is a member for the staff and I personally do not wish to discuss our internal meetings,” she wrote.

Brazile stepped up as interim chair for the DNC in July, when emails released through WikiLeaks proved former chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz favored Clinton to win the Democratic primary. One staffer, who requested anonymity, said “the party is at a crossroads,” and hesitant to let someone “change it up.”
