'Dumbest sh*t I've heard today': Internet ridicules Trump plan to give his kids top secret clearances
Ivanka, Eric and Donald Trump Jr. -- Trump campaign

Reports that President-elect Donald Trump is asking that his children be granted top secret security clearances were received by Twitter users with shock and ridicule late Monday. Many questioned the need, while others pointed out that Trump also intends on allowing them to run his businesses.

At a time when there is ongoing controversy over Trump's misunderstanding of how a blind trust works, saying his kids could still be involved in his companies, the President-elect now wants them intimately involved with the government's deepest secrets.

According to CBS, Trump's children would need to be designated by the current White House as national security advisers to their father to receive top secret clearances.

Needless to say, Twitter users had a few things to say about Ivanka, Donald Jr. and Eric Trump becoming "national security advisors," with all agreeing Tiffany would be left on the sidelines as always.
