A black woman studying at Villanova University was attacked by a group of white men chanting “Trump! Trump! Trump!” on campus Thursday night.

According to Phlly.com, the unnamed woman was walking through a SEPTA tunnel on campus — which is located north of Philadelphia in the township of Radmor — when the men attacked her.

Chanting the name of the president-elect, the men knocked the woman down, causing her to strike her head on the pavement. Her current condition is unknown and the names of the attackers have not been revealed.

Villanova president Rev. Peter M. Donohue said in a statement that he is “deeply disturbed by several reports of members of our community using our nation’s political process as a justification for behaviors and language aimed to intimidate or humiliate other people.”

In a separate statement, the university said that the school “finds this conduct deplorable and considers this racist behavior that runs completely counter to our values.”

Radnor Police and university security officers are investigating the attack, which is one of a rapidly-growing number of racially and politically motivated attacks that have spread across the nation in the wake of the election of Donald Trump for president.

Trump loyalist Corey Lewandowski testified before the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday and it quickly devolved into a circus in which the former Trump campaign manager refused to answer even the most basic questions.

During the hearing, the House Judiciary Democrats sent out a tweet accusing the White House of orchestrating a coverup of the president's actions as outlined by special counsel Robert Mueller's report on Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

However, many Twitter users went on to hammer the Democrats for purportedly treating the constantly obfuscating and stalling Lewandowski with kid gloves instead of holding him in criminal contempt of Congress.

‘Anyone who tried to impact outcome of election should spend life in jail’: Lewandowski

Published

On Tuesday, Donald Trump's former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, testified before the House Judiciary Committee. Lewandowski's appearance before Congress was significant because Donald Trump reportedly told him to tell Jeff Sessions to limit the scope of Mueller's Russia probe.

Lewandowski was defiant in his opening statement, slamming the investigation as biased and knocking Hillary Clinton. He also declared that any entity that tried to meddle in a U.S. election should be in prison.

He said that he handled as many as a thousand emails. "And unlike Hillary Clinton, I don't think I ever deleted any of those," Lewandowski said. "Many of them were either responded to with one-word answers or floated to other staff for additional follow-up. But throughout it all, and to the best of my recollection, I don't recall ever having any conversations with foreign entities, let alone any who were operating to manipulate the outcome of an election."
