The Michigan Supreme Courtvoted 3-2 along party lines Friday to deny former Green Party candidate Jill Stein’s appeal, effectively ending the ballot recount in the Wolverine State.

The Court refused to take up the appeal after the Michigan Court of Appeals ruled the recount should never have been granted at all. In its decision Friday, the Michigan Supreme Court said Stein “failed to allege” that her rights were “infringed in any way” that would justify a recount, , CNN’s Robert Yoon reports.

Meanwhile, recounts continue in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. In Wisconsin, 62 out of 72 counties have completed their recounts, leaving eight counties left.
