‘Really? I don’t have time for this’: Fetish shop workers chase off armed robber with sex toys
An armed robber in San Bernardino, California got more than he bargained for when he attempted to hold up the workers at Lotions and Lace on Wednesday.
According to KABC, the man caught on video was seen walking into the store around 9:45 p.m. with his face covered and appeared to be holding a gun.
An employee who wanted to be known only as “Amy” explained that she didn’t take the man seriously because she thought that the gun was fake.
“With the gun, he walked in. I just thought he was trying to be funny, to scare us,” she said. “But then I saw the gun and it was like, really? I don’t have time for this.”
She then started yelling at the man and he attempted to grab her. A coworker began throwing sex toys at the man until he ran off.
“I think he was a coward,” the other employee said. “Coming in and trying to get over on two females and not realizing [they] were pretty feisty.”
Police are searching for the man and are asking the public to give any information if they have it.
