Harley-Davidson calls off Trump visit to Milwaukee plant over complaints and fear of protests
A scheduled visit by President Donald Trump to a Harley-Davidson factory has been called off over concerns of protests, CNN is reporting.
Trump had been been expected to tour the factory Thursday and meet with executives, before signing executive orders related to American manufacturing.
Over the weekend, massive protests broke out all over the country in response to Trump’s executive order banning immigrants and refugees from Muslim-majority countries.
According to White House spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham, Trump’s trip has now been put off.
