President Donald Trump’s nominee to be Secretary of Education made it narrowly through confirmation Tuesday when Vice President Mike Pence cast the tie-breaking vote that officially confirmed Betsy DeVos to her new position. This after a 24-hour marathon speech marathon on behalf of Democrats.

"And if you don't know what that means, you're probably Betsy DeVos," comedian Seth Meyers joked. DeVos's hearing was blasted by both sides of the aisle after she failed to answer basic questions about education, schools and policy.

He also noted that Trump's approval ratings are abysmal, with a 54 percent disapproval rating. "Or as Betsy DeVos would say, one-third."

Meyers also mentioned the recent comments from Iran's president, who said that Trump represents the "real face of America."

"Are you kidding me?" Meyers exclaimed. "Trump doesn't even represent his own real face. Also, right about now, the real face of the U.S. looks like this—" Meyers then showed the Edvard Munch painting "The Scream."

Meyers also showed photos of former President Barack Obama kite surfing in the Bahamas with Richard Branson. "I know you don't have to worry about any of this anymore, but could you not rub it in?" he asked. "This is why people unfriend their exs on Facebook."

This weekend, Trump spent eight hours on the golf course, "and as usual, Speaker Paul Ryan carried his balls," Meyers joked.
