Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) will battle Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on Tuesday at a CNN Town Hall Debate on the future of the Affordable Care Act, commonly referred to as Obamacare.
The discussion between the two ideological opposites will focus on Donald Trump’s campaign promise to “repeal and replace Obamacare,” former president Barack Obama’s signature legislation expanding health care benefits for Americans.
Sanders, who favors a single-payer system, has vowed to protect the Affordable Care Act, which is now under threat from a Trump administration. Cruz on the other hand promised to “repeal every word of Obamacare” when he ran against Trump in the Republican primary.
