The man held the child outside of the 15th floor while a relative snapped the photo. He then posted the image to Facebook with the caption, “1,000 likes or I will drop him.” The man was later charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
The man told authorities the child was never in any danger, insisting there was a protective barrier in place and the image had been altered. The man’s father also testified it was “just a game,” but the judge still sentenced him to prison.
