Former CNN host Soledad O'Brien does not seem to be a fan of her former network's decision to employ several dedicated Trump supporters whose sole job is to back the president no matter what he does.
On Friday, O'Brien responded to a tweet from Lawrence O'Donnell in which he asked whether CNN needed to hire outgoing White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, whom O'Donnell described as "another Jeffrey Lord," referring to the infamously sycophantic Trump supporter who regularly appears on the network.
Priebus gets fired and immediately starts auditioning for cable news gig. Does CNN really need another Jeffrey Lord?— Lawrence O'Donnell (@Lawrence O'Donnell)1501283566.0
O'Brien replied that CNN doesn't even need one Jeffrey Lord, let alone two.
CNN doesn't even need the Jeffrey Lord it has (unofficial polling of my followers). https://t.co/jSNTVKB7Dz— Soledad O'Brien (@Soledad O'Brien)1501284392.0
Lord then got into the action and dared O'Brien to admit that she's a liberal who has "hate" for President Donald Trump.
@soledadobrien Soledad! Just say you are a liberal and hate Trump! It's ok! Come on...you can do it! It's ok to come out! 😊— Jeffrey Lord (@Jeffrey Lord)1501287362.0
Soledad then issued the coup de gras and informed Lord that she had no hatred for Trump -- only for Lord.
Actually, boo-it's you I dislike. https://t.co/KScUzVH4hm— Soledad O'Brien (@Soledad O'Brien)1501296722.0
