‘I’m not having fun — it’s a horror show’: MSNBC’s Mika trashes White House for constant misspellings
MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski interrupted what seemed intended to be a lighthearted segment on the White House’s growing list of misspelled public statements to strongly criticize the administration’s sloppiness.
The White House repeatedly misspelled the first name of Jon Huntsman Jr., the former Utah governor and Republican presidential candidate, in an announcement of his nomination as U.S. ambassador to Russia, and the “Morning Joe” co-host looked at numerous previous misspellings by the administration.
“On the one hand, we’re having some fun here,” Brzezinski said. “I’m not having fun, actually. To be honest — I just read that. This is just embarrassing. I think the press shop at this White House, the communication office, it’s a horror show — and it doesn’t start and end with the spelling.”
