Looks like Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ)’s radio career may be taking off soon now that he’s begun berating listeners as “communists” and “bums.”
“Governor, next time you want to sit on a beach that is closed to the entire world except you, you put your fat ass in a car and go to one that’s open to all your constituents,” Mike from Montclair said.
“Interesting, Mike,” Christie responded. “You know, Mike, I love getting calls from communists in Montclair.”
Mike wasn’t having it, and claimed Christie is a bully — “and I don’t like bullies!”
“You’re swearing on the air, Mike,” Christie retorted. “You’re a bum!”
The governor went on to joke about his lack of popularity in Montclair, and about his electoral wins in 2013.
Christie, Mediaite noted, is auditioning for a prime afternoon slot on WFAN — and if Monday’s performance is any evidence, he’ll clearly be a “shoo-in.”
