In the most recent episode of "The Resistance," host Keith Olbermann claimed in light of revelations that Donald Trump Jr. all-but-colluded with Russians to acquire information to swing the election, that his father admitted to collusion as well.
"The elder Trump's confession was so damaging he actually tried to walk it back," Olbermann began. "His actions are not those of anyone, let alone anyone in power, whose loyalty is to the United States of America. Indeed, his actions seem more like those who loyalty is to the Russian state."
The confession Olbermann referenced was one made on Trump's medium of choice on July 9, when he tweeted that he and Russian President Vladimir Putin "discussed forming an impenetrable Cyber Security unit" to supposedly guard against "election-hacking and many other negative things."
"That is a confession responding to the worst sneak against this country since 9/11 or even Pearl Harbor," Olbermann continued. "By discussing the possibility of sharing our cybersecurity operations, sharing our intelligence, sharing our defenses with our enemy after our enemy interfered with our elections last year in advance of the elections of 2018 and 2020."
