'Your sexism is showing': The internet smacks media reports celebrating McCain instead of GOP women
Sen. Susan Collins and Sen. Lisa Murkowski

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) dramatically cast the deciding vote that sank Obamacare repeal -- but social media users pointed out that two Republican women had been against the measure all along.

Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) and Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) each voted against the Affordable Care Act repeal, and they also voted earlier this week against a motion to proceed that kept the bill alive.

Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke reportedly threatened Alaska's energy sector as retribution for Murkowski's vote against the motion, and a Republican congressman challenged Collins to a duel.

McCain, who returned to the U.S. Senate to take part in the votes after undergoing surgery for brain cancer, has been credited with defeating the repeal -- and Twitter users said Collins and Murkowski had been overlooked.
