A Pennsylvania man is accused of screaming racial slurs as he threatened to kill a woman during a road rage incident.
Roger Chenault, of Millersville, was arrested last week on charges of ethnic intimidation, terroristic threats, simple assault and reckless driving, reported Lancaster Online.
Police said the 57-year-old Chenault passed a woman at high speed July 8 before pulling in front of her and repeatedly slamming on the brakes.
The woman tried to pass him, but Chenault blocked her path, police said.
Chenault jumped out of his vehicle when they reached a stop sign, where police said he threatened to punch the woman in the face and "shoot her brains out" while bellowing racial slurs.
The woman managed to escape to safety, and Chenault was arrested July 29 and was held on $5,000 bail.
Chenault denies using racial slurs or getting out of his car, saying his prosthetic leg had fallen off -- and he claims the woman called him "peg leg."
The man lost his leg in a 2005 industrial accident, according to KDKA-TV.
He's scheduled to appear in court next week.
