Anthony Scaramucci's unfortunate last day of his 10-day job at the White House included a phone call with comedian Joy Behar.
The co-host of ABC's "The View" revealed that she reached out to Scaramucci after predicting that he would be gone from the White House soon. Her prediction took only hours to be proven correct.
"I was trying to get him on the show," Behar said. "We're Paisanos together, so, I called him and we had a very interesting conversation. Fortunately he learned from The New Yorker interview how to say the words 'off the record' so I can't tell you too much. Also I'm under FBI surveillance at this point. But we had a great conversation, very juicy information, but I can't say it."
She went on to say that he seemed to be in a good mood and was shocked to hear that Behar was calling him.
"He was like, 'is this really Joy Behar from 'The View?' My mother loves you!'" she recalled. "And in the middle of the conversation he said, 'can I call you back, my mother's on the other phone.' He's like a real mammoni. He's an Italian boy with the mommy."
Behar noted that her prediction came to fruition just as they were going off the air Monday.
"My next prediction, Reince Priebus will give birth to the mooch's baby," she said laughing. In all seriousness she said that she thinks the family staff will ultimately end up leaving under Gen. John Kelly's leadership in the White House. She also thinks that senior aide Steve Bannon will be out at some point soon.
"The problem is that the one person that's really making things not run smoothly and not orderly is Trump!" co-host Jedediah Bila exclaimed. "So, now Kelly is in there and the one person he needs to tell to sit down is Trump."
Behar asked rhetorically if it would be "the kids" or "Kelly" because "there's a little bit of room under the bus."
Bila asked about Bannon and the panel collectively rolled their eyes.
"We haven't heard from President Bannon," co-host Sunny Hostin recalled.
"He's done. Put a fork in him," Behar said.
"President Bannon, you had so much potential, and now you're gone!" Whoopi said, pretending to cry.
