REVEALED: Blubbering white supremacist Chris Cantwell attempted a stand-up comedy career — and failed miserably
Before he was a hateful racist, Chris Cantwell was an unfunny, wannabe “libertarian comedian.”
Cantwell, the white supremacist being held without bail after his part in the Charlottesville protests, once embarked — and failed — as a stand-up comic.
The 2011 footage, which was captured on Funny or Die and unearthed by the AV Club, shows a giddy, unarmed Cantwell basing George W. Bush, US foreign policy and handful of other political topics.
“Is it just me or is the world going to hell?” Cantwell asks the crowd as he rants about the current state America was in back in 2011.
The unsurprisingly awful set wold make any amateur comic sob — just like he did shorty before surrendering to authorities.
