Responding to the terrorist attack in Spain -- and likely attempting to move beyond his disastrous comments about the white nationalist march in Charlottesville that claimed the life of a counter-protester -- President Donald Trump turned his ire on Democrats on Friday morning, saying they are putting the country at risk.

On Twitter, Trump wrote, "Homeland Security and law enforcement are on alert & closely watching for any sign of trouble. Our borders are far tougher than ever before!"

He then attacked what he called the "Obstructionist Democrats" for endangering the U.S.

"The Obstructionist Democrats make Security for our country very difficult. They use the courts and associated delay at all times. Must stop!," he continued.

He later brought the courts into the mix, writing, "Radical Islamic Terrorism must be stopped by whatever means necessary! The courts must give us back our protective rights. Have to be tough!"
