Trump to announce 'sharp cuts' aimed at killing Obamacare by attrition: report

On Thursday, President Donald Trump's administration announced "sharp cuts" to programs that promote and advertise the Affordable Care Act, AP reports.

According to Reuters, U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service reduced their ACA advertising budget from $100 million to $10 million.

The agency also announced they would be reducing their budget for "navigators," or people who help others enroll in the ACA marketplace, down to $38.6 million -- a 41 percent decrease, Reuters stated.

This is the second time today that the White House has announced reversals of Obama-era orders after Fox News reported the president could end the DACA program as early as Friday.
