President Donald Trump on Friday bragged about the work he and his administration have done in fighting terrorism -- and he cast aspersions on the work of his predecessor.

"We have made more progress in the last nine months against ISIS than the Obama Administration has made in 8 years," the president crowed. "Must be proactive & nasty!"

Alyssa Mastromonaco, who served as a deputy chief of staff under former President Barack Obama, quickly shot back with an insult of her own, and reminded the president that it was Obama's team who took out the mastermind behind the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

"Let us know when you kill Bin Laden," she wrote.

Upon entering the Oval Office, Trump vowed to concoct a "secret plan" to defeat ISIS -- but so far, most of his plans have involved more aggressive variations of the tactics used by the Obama administration.
