President Donald Trump on Friday gave the people of London a lecture about not being "nasty" enough against terrorists after they suffered from a horrific attack that left 18 people injuired on a London subway.
"Another attack in London by a loser terrorist," the president wrote. "These are sick and demented people who were in the sights of Scotland Yard. Must be proactive!"
The president then segued into a rant about how his proposed "travel ban" for multiple Muslim-majority countries should have been even "larger" than it already is, while also attacking "political correctness" for preventing him from being "tougher."
The travel ban into the United States should be far larger, tougher and more specific-but stupidly, that would not be politically correct!— Donald J. Trump (@Donald J. Trump)1505472854.0
The president finished off his tirade by crowing about the progress he and his administration have made against ISIS, and he said the lesson London should learn from that is you have to be "proactive and nasty!"
We have made more progress in the last nine months against ISIS than the Obama Administration has made in 8 years.Must be proactive & nasty!— Donald J. Trump (@Donald J. Trump)1505473201.0
