NYPD employee used neighbor's face to put out his cigar: police

An employee of the NYPD allegedly used a cigar to burn a neighbor during a despute, according to DNAinfo.


Angel Benitez, 53, an NYPD motor vehicle operator, was arrested and charged with assault on Monday night.

Police said the incident began as a verbal dispute in front of his Staten Island home. But the argument turned physical and Benitez put his cigar out on the victim's face and chest.
