'Only one person wants it': Paul Ryan privately admits Trump's border wall has no chance

At a private dinner earlier this year, sources close to House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) said the Republican leader claimed that there's little chance that President Donald Trump's campaign promise border wall will be built.

According to Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO), who spoke with Breitbart, Ryan said that only "one member" of the House GOP wanted to build the wall.

“Of course he means only one person in his entourage and of the leadership,” Tancredo said of Ryan's comments. “I know several people in Congress who want a wall and I know that there are millions of Americans who want a wall.”

Ryan and Breitbart's source neither confirmed nor denied the comments about the president's border wall, the site reports.

Ryan has publicly supported Trump's border wall as recently as August.
