Sarah Huckabee Sanders insists Trump's 'Rocket Man' speech was just like what Obama would say

In a tweet posted on Tuesday morning, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders cited a strange source when coming up with endorsements for President Donald Trump's threats that he could "destroy" North Korea.

In her tweet, Huckabee Sanders quoted former President Barack Obama as saying that the U.S. has enough nuclear weapons to destroy the country.

The only issue? The quote, in context, calls for the exact opposite.

As Daily Kos reported, her supposed bipartisan endorsement for military annihilation of North Korea came from an interview Obama gave last April.

"It's not something that lends itself to an easy solution," Obama told CBS. "We could, obviously, destroy North Korea with our arsenals. But aside from the humanitarian costs of that, they are right next door to our vital ally, Republic of Korea."
