‘They wanted him to fail’: Panicked Sean Hannity blames GOP leaders for Trump’s ‘political suicide’
Fox News host Sean Hannity melted down on Twitter after President Donald Trump entered negotiations with Democratic lawmakers on an immigration deal.
Hannity blamed Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) for the president’s apparently broken campaign promise to end the Deferred Action for Child Arrivals program.
“Well Mitch GREAT JOB!” Hannity tweeted Wednesday night, as news of the deal broke. “You failed so miserably with Healthcare and ‘excessive expectations’ now @POTUS has to deal with Dem Leaders!”
Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) announced the deal after dinner at the White House — which didn’t include any GOP lawmakers — although Trump tweeted the following morning that no agreement had been reached.
If reports true 100%. I blame R's. They caused this. They wanted him to fail and now pushed him into arms of political suicide–IF TRUE. https://t.co/WTqe6jzfa9
