WATCH: Colbert leads his audience in the ‘loudest booing Trump has ever heard’
Stephen Colbert on Tuesday was decidedly unconvinced by Donald Trump’s claim that the booing crowd at Monday’s Cowboys-Cardinals was the “loudest” he’d ever heard.
Trump took to Twitter this morning to blast the Dallas Cowboy football team, who offered a moving display of unity Monday night when the entire team—including owner Jerry Jones—linked arms and took a knee prior to the national anthem.
“The booing at the NFL football game last night, when the entire Dallas team dropped to its knees, was loudest I have ever heard. Great anger,” Trump tweeted.

A skeptical Colbert on Tuesday was pretty sure those boos were a far cry from the “loudest” Trump has ever heard. And, for good measure, he opted to one-up the NFL crowd in a protest aimed directly at the president.
