Fox News on Friday conducted an interview with former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman, who now serves as the Trump administration’s ambassador to Russia.
However, there was a unique twist to this particular interview, as it was conducted by Fox News’ Abby Huntsman, who just happens to be Jon Huntsman’s daughter.
“This is the height of awesomeness to be interviewed by my daughter,” Huntsman gushed at the start of the interview, in which the Russian ambassador also described President Donald Trump as a “problem solver.”
The idea that Fox would send out a family member to interview an important government official drew a swift and negative reaction on the internet, as one Twitter user described the entire interaction as “nepotism to the millionth power.”

This is an unimaginable horrible interview for the U.S. Ambassador to Russia in 2017.
I’m thinking interviewing you dad might be a bad idea https://t.co/u89aNwHlJ0

Abby Huntsman, Sarah Sanders,Megan McCain, Ivanka Trump. What a disservice to the smart, hardworking women who don’t have daddy’s coattails
