CNN is reporting that defense attorneys for President Donald Trump have received a list of potential topics of conversation when the commander in chief is interviewed by special counsel Robert Mueller.

The topics are reportedly centered around the firing of former National Security Advisor Mike Flynn and the firing of former FBI Director James Comey.

CNN is also reporting that Mueller has also interviewed CIA Director Mike Pompeo, Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats and National Security Agency Director Mike Rogers.

The list of interview topics was described as an "opening bid" in the discussions.

“I would love to do it, and I would like to do it as soon as possible,” Trump said Wednesday of his inevitable interview by special counsel investigators.

“I would do it under oath, absolutely,” the president pledged.
