Kanye West made waves during the 2016 election when he voiced support of President Donald Trump, who he did not vote for but said he would have voted for if he cared to vote.

Today, Kanye distanced himself a little from Trump at the behest of his wife and benefactor Kim Kardashian, tweeting that he wanted to make it clear he does not agree with everything Trump does.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked about this during Wednesday's press briefing, and made it clear that the two have not met since the post-election transition.

"I don't know of any conversation that they've had over the last week or so," Sanders said.
